MedicubeX has signed a 4 million euro contract with Istekki Oy

Medicubex Oy has won the public tender organized by Istekki Oy for the procurement of self-measurement stations. The estimated value of the procurement is 4 million euros. With this agreement MedicubeX® eHealth Stations™ will be available to Istekki's customer-owners.

Istekki is a Finnish expert organization that supports society in digital environments, especially in healthcare, wellbeing, and ICT solutions. Its clients include public sector actors such as municipalities, wellbeing services counties, and other societal entities. Istekki operates nationwide in Finland, and its activities impact the lives of over 4 million people.

Some of Istekki Oy's customer-owners have a need for measurement stations that allow the end-user to perform their own health measurements at a self-measurement station. The measurement stations can be placed in public spaces. The station helps to support and speed up healthcare processes and promotes the identification of cardiovascular disease risks at the earliest possible stage. The self-measurement stations are primarily suitable for healthcare sector clients, and their main customer group are the wellbeing services counties.

The MedicubeX® eHealth Station™ is the world's first fully autonomous self-measurement and remote consultation station for key health indicators. In addition to all basic vital signs, the eHealth Station™ offers an electrocardiogram (ECG), a body fat percentage measurement, and an AGE value that indicates the risk for cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes. A completely private user experience is guaranteed during use thanks to the visual cover and sound insulation included in its design.

The object of the procurement includes the self-measurement stations, as well as related integrations, delivery projects, maintenance and support services, and separately ordered technical expert services. Further development of the procured solution can be purchased during the contract period. The procurement was carried out in accordance with the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts (1397/2016, "the Procurement Act") as a procurement exceeding the EU threshold value (§ 26).

The estimated value of the procurement is 4,000,000 euros, VAT 0%. The estimated value of the procurement includes options. The contract is valid indefinitely.
